Fixed an issue where Victor awkwardly stood behind Lance during the Luau. Fixed an issue where Susan and Sophia clipped into each other in Pierre's during fall Sundays. Fixed an issue where Scarlett wore her cosplay outfit in the NPC social menu if the player was at the bus stop. Fixed an issue where players on Grandpa's Farm could place crab pots in the spot a bridge was patched. Fixed an issue where Scarlett claimed it was a nice day during rainy weather while working at Blue Moon Vineyard. Fixed an issue where Andy mentioned Joja mart in his 4 heart event after Community Center completion. Fixed an issue where Susan's luau dialogue mentioned a particular NPC if players took the Joja route. Added compatibility patches for several other mods. 
Removed all yellow brick tiles in front of Robin's house. Some of Clint's festival dialogue now changes after players have seen a certain character event. Slightly redesigned the interiors of Leah's house, the saloon, and Marnie's Ranch (walls and back layer only). It lets you set up different profiles for easily swapping between mod groups, checks for updates, and incompatibility. The open-source project is still in open beta but is already very familiar if you've used a community mod manager for other games. In 2022, the open-source mod manager Stardrop is definitely one of the easiest ways to manage big groups of mods. You can then run Stardew Valley with SMAPI. Content Patcher can be unzipped into Stardew Valley's "mods" folder in the same location dictated above.

Many current Stardew Valley mods are compatible with Content Patcher (opens in new tab), a tool which loads a whole host of mods without changing the XNB files, making install and uninstall easier, as well as reducing the likelihood of conflicts between mods. SMAPI does check for mod conflicts and updates, but if you want a really familiar feeling mod managing tool then you'll want to use Stardrop too.

You can download the latest version of SMAPI from its website (opens in new tab) and find a pretty thorough walkthrough on how to install it (and keep your Steam achievements enabled while using it) over on the Stardew Valley wiki (opens in new tab). This is a community-made API that is frequently being updated and allows you to use DLL mods. Mods that make more complex changes may require the "Stardew Modding API", or SMAPI for short. If you want to install quite a few mods, or switch back and forth between different groups of mods for different save files, the Stardrop mod manager is the handiest way to do so in 2022. Some mods might require some important foundational mods like SMAPI below.
